Personal Information:
Elisha was born and raised in Denver Colorado and loves the Mile High City. She has three daughters and two sons. She loves spending time with her two granddaughters and five grandsons whenever she gets a chance. She is an advocate for volunteerism and has volunteered for many organizations including, Dress for Success of Denver and The Boys and Girls Club of Denver.
Enjoys:
She enjoys teaching children and has taught for 19 years. Her experience in teaching includes Denver Public School and most recently Shepherd of The Hills School and Early Learning Center. She is obsessed with her Rocket-themed classroom and In her spare time, you can catch her at her local thrift/vintage store looking for a bargain, walking her three dogs: Peanut Butter, Penelope, and Arturo, or relaxing at the beach.
Fun Fact:
Elisha was fortunate to go on a mission trip to Cambodia with the mission team at Shepherd of the Hills in 2019 and insists this experience has forever changed her life. She believes that no matter where you are in the world or what your background is, children are God’s gift.
What I love about my position:
Watching children learn and grow in the word of God every day is indescribable and gives her heart great joy.
