Personal Information:
I’m married to Chris, and we have 3 awesome kiddos: Jaxon, Gavin, and Kailyn. We have been a Shepherd ELC family since 2019. We also have a dog named Maggie that we all adore. Before coming to Shepherd, I worked for a non-profit called Youth For Christ for 18 years. I planned summer camps for HS and MS kids.
Enjoys:
I enjoy going on dates with my husband, watching our kiddos play sports, taking Maggie to the dog park, hiking, camping, skiing, and gardening.
Fun Fact:
I’ve been the president of the PTO at Northridge Elementary School for the last 4 years.
What I love about my position:
As a working mom, I had a lot of mornings when I dropped off our kiddos somewhere and cried. I knew they were safe, but we had very few childcare situations before coming to Shepherd that we really loved. Now that I’m working here, it’s my goal to help moms and dads feel good about where they are leaving their kiddo for the day. I love giving parents peace of mind that their little one will be loved dearly while in my care.
Bible verse with special meaning:
1 John 4:9-12 – “God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.” This has given me my life guide: Love God, Love Others”
